Crescent Lake in Bloomfield Township is just a small private lake that is not big enough to be an all sports lake. It is just a large pond. It is about 7.9 acres in size. Depending on who you talk to the lake is called Wood Lake and Crescent Lake. They are both the same lake. There is also a Crescent Lake in Waterford Michigan. Crescent Lake is west of Telegraph Road and south of Lone Pine Road. The water from the lake flows into Gilbert Lake in Bloomfield. The lake lies entirely in Bloomfield Twp.

The waterfront homes on the lake are on sewers and municipal water. The roads around the lake are paved. The children on the lake go to Bloomfield Hills schools district. The homes on the lake range in size from 1/2 acre to 1 acre. There are about 15 Echo Lake homes in Bloomfield Township.

It is a small non all sports lake where Homes on Pine Lake in West Bloomfield are on an private all sports lake. Pine Lake is 395 acres in size.
