Minnow Lake in Bloomfield Township is just a small private lake that is about 10.2 acres in size. Tranquil is one word I would use to describe the lake. It is a non all sports lake that is ideal for every home owners relaxation. It is not an all sports lake, just not big enough for water sports. Just big enough for fishing, kayaking and stuff. The lake lies in the prestigious gated community of Hills of Lone Pine.
All the roads around the lake are paved. The homes are on city water and sewer. The school district for the lake is Bloomfield Hills. The Hills of Lone Pine gated community is an exclusive community. It does have a community pool and tennis court in the subdivision. For more information on Hidden Lake follow the link. Part of Hidden Lake is also in the gated Hills of Lone Pines.
Here are what the homes on Minnow Lake in Bloomfield MI are like:
* 3 to 5 bedrooms
* 3 to 10 bathrooms
* 2 to 4 car garages
* Built during the years of 1987 to 2005
* 2500 square feet to over 9100 square feet
Of course this information above is not perfect. I gathered this home information from sold listings the last 20 years. Some people have lived on the lake for longer than 20 years so I have no information on their homes. This compilation may be off because one of the homes that has not sold may be bigger, small, older, or have different features. Some of the smaller lakefront homes may have been torn down and do not exist anymore. Also a new house may have been built on the lake that does not show up. The house information is just to give you a general idea of the lake homes.

If you are buying a lake house in Oakland County you should know what negatively affects the price. Of course the normal stuff like high tension wires, house on a main road, or close to a business. But when buying a lake home parking sometimes comes into play, but the two main issues are type of lake bottom and is there vegetation in the lake. Sandy bottom homes sell quicker and fetch more money as do lake homes that do not have lily pads or lake grasses in the in front of the house. However there is no way to put a specific dollar amount on these items. It just slows the sale and homes that are sandy bottom sometimes get a little more money.
