If you are looking for a big lake or an all sports lake then Robin Lake in W Bloomfield is not going to be for you.  It is more of a long narrow pond that is primarily good for wildlife watching.  Sure you could put a kayak or paddle boat on it but I did see a couple of paddle boats on the lake.  It’s more of a lake for the geese and ducks.  If you are a person that likes the water and just want the water view out the window or from your deck then a lakefront home on Robin Lake in West Bloomfield might be for you.   Some of the homes on Robin Lake have lake privileges on Upper Long Lake.

I did not notice any swim platform in the lake so I don’t think anybody uses the lake for swimming.  I once listed a very odd layout home on the lake.  It had no garage and was over 3000 square feet in size.  From out of the window of that house the lake was very natural with tall grass, cattails and even a fallen tree.  Probably great for fishing, but the owner never fished.

The roads around the lake are paved.  All the lakefront homes are on septic.  Some have wells and some have municipal water.  The homes were built between 1952 and 1982.  The school district for the lake is Pontiac schools.
