Here is a good sized private non all sports lake. Wabeek Lake in Bloomfield Township is about 33 to 35 acres depending on who you talk to. It is has an average depth of 12 feet. The lake is spring fed and water also flows in from Turtle and Lower Long Lakes. Wabeek Lake’s outlet flows to the Rouge River tributaries. The lake is located north of W Long Lake Road and east of Middlebelt Road. It is just south of Upper Long Lake and west of Island Lake in Bloomfield Township.

The homes and condos on Wabeek Lake are all on municipal water and sewer. All the roads are paved. The school system is Bloomfield Hills schools. There are quite a few condos on the lake. The lake is a private electric motor or hand paddle lake. No gas motors allowed.

* 2 to 3 Car Garages. Mainly 2 car garages. A few have no garage

* Most of them have walkout basements
Of course this information above is not perfect. I gathered this home information from sold listings the last 20 years. Some people have lived on the lake for longer than 20 years so I have no information on their homes. This compilation may be off because one of the homes that has not sold may be bigger, small, older, or have different features. Some of the smaller lakefront homes may have been torn down and do not exist anymore. Also a new house may have been built on the lake that does not show up. The house information is just to give you a general idea of the lake homes.
