Middle Straits Lake in West Bloomfield is a public all sports lake. Bloomer Park is on the lake and the Township of West Bloomfield has a boat launch there. There is not much parking and you have to walk to park your car. So it is not the easiest place to launch a boat, but it allows you to get on the lake and have fun. Mirror Lake in West Bloomfield is another small lake that has condominiums around it. West Bloomfield actually has quite a few little lakes that have lakefront condos on them.
