Harris Lake West Bloomfield – Condos on Harris Lake West Bloomfield Michigan

Harris Lake in West Bloomfield Township is another Lake that I do not have much information on.  I don't have pictures of the lake either.  It is at the end of Simpson Lake Road that is just north of Walnut Lake Road and west of Middlebelt Road.  Harris Lake is north west of Simpson Lake.

The lake is a private lake that is not all sports.  It is just a small pond really.  Probably not even big enough to kayak around on.  It is more of a paddle boat lake.  There is one set of condos on the lake.  The condos are part of the Fairways.  If you have information on the lake shoot me an email.

One of the best things about buying a lake house in Bloomfield or West Bloomfield is that you "should" get a good return on your money.  When buying a lake home it usually is a good investment if you buy right and not over spend or over build.  Lake home prices usually drop less during a correction or recession.  They seem to hold their value better.  One of the reasons is that they are just no building more lakes around metro Detroit.  The number of lakefront properties is not going to increase.  So for all those home buyers that do not want to drive hours up north or want to be close to work a SE Michigan lake home is their best option.  Demand for metro Detroit lake homes will always be strong.  They do not turn over as often as other homes.  It usually is a good investment not including that your quality of life will go up.
