Morris Lake in W Bloomfield is a private non all sports lake. It is about 21 acres in size. It is a paddle lake that is good for a short kayak or paddle boat ride. There are condo’s on half the lake and homes on the other half. Some of the roads on the house side are gravel and on the condominium side the roads are paved. Some lake properties are on well others are on municipal water. It is the same way with sewers, some have sewers and some have septic systems. It just depends on where you are on the lake.

It is actually against the law to operate a motor boat on the lake. The children on the lake go to West Bloomfield Schools or a private school.

West Bend Lake houses Bloomfield are actually on Shorewood Lake in Bloomfield Hills. For some reason a few people call the lake West Bend though the majority call it Shorewood.
